Our Mission — Why We Don't Give Up
We care for patients with complex cardiovascular and limb-threatening disease — people who have often been told they have few options left. We were built on one conviction: every person is made in the image of God and carries a worth that no diagnosis can take away. When others say no, we take a closer look.
Why this practice exists
Across our region, too many people with advanced peripheral artery disease are told a limb cannot be saved — often because the disease is located in the small arteries of the calf, ankle, and foot that most programs will not treat. Oklahoma Cardiovascular Center was founded to be the place that does. We are a dedicated limb-salvage program built around the patients others have run out of options for — offering advanced below-the-knee and pedal techniques that few centers provide, grounded in the belief that a limb is worth fighting for.
How we care
We care for the whole person, not just a diagnosis. Circulation, wound care, imaging, and follow-up are coordinated under one roof, most often as same-day outpatient procedures, so patients heal with as little disruption to their lives as possible. Our work reaches well beyond limb salvage — into the heart, the arteries, and the veins — as a full-service cardiovascular practice.
The team behind the mission
This is the work of a team, not a single physician. Interventional cardiologists, wound-care-trained physician assistants, imaging technologists, and clinical staff work as one — diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up under one roof.
Oklahoma Cardiovascular Center began as a small private practice in south Tulsa. Patient-centered care and the outcomes our patients experienced did the growing: today we are a large multisite practice with extensive experience in below-the-knee and below-the-ankle revascularization and limb salvage, caring for patients who travel from across Oklahoma and beyond. The measure that matters most is simple: limbs saved, wounds healed, and people who kept walking when they were told they wouldn't.
