Dr. Matthew Comstock is an interventional cardiologist at Oklahoma Cardiovascular Center. He is board certified in internal medicine, cardiology, and interventional cardiology, with a practice centered on complex below-the-knee and pedal revascularization. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC) and a Fellow of the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions (FSCAI).
Oklahoma Cardiovascular Center is dedicated to amputation prevention and limb preservation for patients with peripheral arterial disease and chronic limb-threatening ischemia. The practice reopens the small arteries of the lower leg and foot (below-the-knee and below-the-ankle percutaneous revascularization) through a needle puncture rather than open surgery. Its approach includes retrograde transtibial access, through a small puncture in an artery of the lower leg or foot, with tibial, pedal, and plantar arch revascularization, performed in the practice's own outpatient lab with same-day discharge for most procedures. The practice also treats coronary artery disease, congestive heart failure, arrhythmias, and venous disease.
If you are seeking a second opinion before amputation, you are seen the same day if possible or within two business days, based on your availability.
